Transportation - alesco minimises transportation by offering a variety of solutions from just one source

alesco extrudes, prints and trims – all from a single source and at one location. This not only ensures a high degree of flexibility, but saves on transportation-generated emissions. Whilst other manufacturers are forced to transport their products by truck between the extrusion and print shop, or between the print shop and cutting facility, we are able to shift our rolls of film from one production facility to the next simply by using electrically-powered fork-lift trucks.

Furthermore: fewer trucks means less-crowded roads and less-frequent traffic jams. And that means we are also reducing the CO2 emissions of all other road users. Because the less time spent in traffic jams and the quicker the journey is completed, the sooner the engine can be switched off. That is good news for the environment and the climate.
