At alesco, we try to keep the effects of our film production on the environment to a minimum. Bio-films, solvent recovery equipment and reductions in thickness are just three examples of our commitment. It is unfortunately still not possible to manufacture film without generating at least some CO2 emissions. This is why, at alesco, we go in for climate-neutral production. Our customers now receive all products made from bio-degradable bio-films ‘carbon-neutrally,’ at no additional cost. All other alesco film products are manufactured with the same investment in climate-neutrality – the only additional costs are the fees payable for the acquisition of the emissions reduction certificates, which we continue to meet without passing any surcharges on to the customer.
