Bio-films - alesco produces compostable bio-films |

“FROM NATURE FOR NATURE” – this is the principle which guided our engineers and raw material suppliers during the three years it took them to develop alesco bio-film. This type of film is not only compostable, but is now produced using around 50 percent sustainable raw materials. The film is, of course, also certified according to DIN EN 13432 as a compostable film. In order to achieve the characteristics demanded by the market in terms of stability, durability, luminosity and printability, we cannot completely avoid the use of oil-based raw materials at this point in time. However, our product development staff are continuing to work on reducing the proportion of fossil fuel-based granules used. |
