Green transportation - alesco looks to the future with green transport

We’re no longer making things easy for our logistics partners: By installing our own recycling facilities, such as re-granulating and solvent recovery plants, as well using our single-location extrusion, printing and cutting facilities we, at alesco, are trying to cut down on emission-heavy road haulage as much as possible.

And in the future, we expect to be able to go one step further and encourage our customers, too, to move to higher levels of environmental protection with respect to product transportation. We are asking our logistics partners to only use hybrid vehicles, or other fuel-saving means of transportation.

And together with our customers, we are working towards delivery schedules which ensure that trucks depart with full loads. Deliveries carried out with vehicles only half-loaded should soon be a thing of the past.
