Renewable raw materials - Renewable raw materials – our raw materials for the plastics of the future

We at alesco do not want to wait until the first natural gas sources run dry and we are then forced to look for an alternative raw material. For this reason, our development engineers started to look for alternatives several years ago.

They were successful in the following fields: Starchy plants are the ideal replacement for black gold. The plant starch can be converted in large-scale chemical plants in such a way that high-quality granules for bioplastics of all types can be produced.

And while the whole plant was required at first for the granule production process, including fruits of the plant such as maize or potatoes, for example, only production waste such as the stalks and plant remains are now needed in most cases in order to extract the required starch.
