We can't stop global warming, but we can contribute to climate protection by implementing various measures. The reduction of fossil fuel use for the production of energy plays an important role.

The minor measures are just as important as the major ones: For example, the use of energy-saving light bulbs, turning off the stand-by mode and avoiding the use of cars if it is possible to walk or use a bicycle. Generally, climate protection works by switching to electricity from renewable energies such as wind or water power.

However, the use of climate-neutral products also plays a part in climate protection. During production, the CO2 emissions are not prevented, but are neutralised by purchasing emission-reduction certificates. By purchasing the certificates, environmental projects are supported which compensate for CO2 emissions, for example the reforestation of the rainforests.
