Reducing CO2 - How we can reduce the emission of CO2 and other greenhouse gases at alesco

Whenever less energy is required for the production of our films, we reduce the emission of CO2 and other greenhouse gases. However, the aim is not only to reduce the use of energy, but also to make use of the huge cost saving potential brought about by reducing freight emissions.

At alesco, we have therefore integrated environmentally friendly processes at many stages of production which also protect the environment.

• Dye-mixing plant: reduces the raw materials and disposal requirements and therefore also the freight emissions
• Film returns: uses empty space available on trucks, avoiding additional freight emissions
• Thickness reduction: the use of fewer raw materials means less production energy and fewer emissions
• Solvent recovery plant: reduces raw materials and disposal requirements and therefore also the freight emissions
